More than five decades of specification-grade flooring
Floors GH was founded in 1972, and for more than five decades the work has gravitated to the interiors where a floor is read before anyone in the room speaks. Arrival lobbies and ballroom plates for international hotels and hospitality groups. Banking halls and executive levels for financial institutions. The reception floors of corporate and institutional headquarters. This is the register Floors GH was built for, and it is where the practice has stayed across Accra, Kumasi and installations nationwide.
The floor is a promise you have to keep for decades
A hotel judges a floor by how it holds under a thousand footfalls a night and a relaunch calendar that cannot slip. A bank judges it by whether the banking hall still reads as it did at handover after years of daily traffic. A corporate headquarters judges it by the impression it makes on the visitor who has not yet been introduced. Since 1972 we have specified to those standards rather than to the finish schedule — moisture science first, material selection second, and a written guarantee that outlives the fit-out.
One named specialist, from survey to handover
Every Floors GH commission is owned end to end by a named member of our Project Office: first site survey, substrate verification, material specification against the applicable standard, multi-stage QC, and written acceptance at handover. Nothing is handed between crews without a signature. It is the discipline that separates specification-grade delivery from commercial-grade application — and it is why hospitality groups, financial institutions and corporate clients return.
The interiors we are trusted with
Alongside our core hotel, banking and corporate work, the practice is regularly specified for diplomatic missions, high-specification healthcare, cultural and heritage buildings, and the private residences of Ghana’s most established addresses. The common thread is not the sector — it is a commissioning regime that puts performance in writing before a tender is awarded, and expects the floor to still be standing well into the next decade.
What has never changed
Since 1972 the promise has been the same: an installation specified to perform, owned by a named specialist, handed over in writing, and standing in service across decades. Who commissions that work stays between us and them.
